Treatment
Treatment for cancer related pain varies on the type of cancer and on the source of pain. Common non-drug pain treatments include:
- Nerve Blocks: commonly used for patients with pancreatic cancer
- Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS): the application of mild electric current to the skin at the site of the pain
