Diagnosis
The American College of Rheumatology has established specific guidelines for the diagnosis of fibromyalgia.
The guidelines include the following:
- Widespread pain on all four body quadrants for a minimum duration of three months
- Pain in 11 of the 18 tender points when pressure in applied
Symptoms of Fibromyalgia
- Pain in the muscles and/or joints
- Moderate to severe fatigue
- Sleep disorders
- Headache and/or migraines
- AnxietyDepression
